Attention for Students Who Will Take the Single-Course Exam

According to the Balıkesir University Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations:

Article 19, Paragraph 3:
Students who, for graduation, have fulfilled attendance and practice requirements for all courses except internship but have received an FF grade in only one course, or students who have passed all their courses but cannot reach a 2.00 GPA required for graduation, are granted the right to take a single-course exam, provided that the grade they receive from this exam can raise their GPA to at least 2.00.
To be successful in the single-course exam, students must obtain at least a DD letter grade. Midterm exam grades are not taken into consideration in determining this letter grade.

Single-Course Exams will be held face-to-face on 17 January 2025 at 14:00 in the Tourism and Hotel Management 2nd-year classroom.

Single-Course Exam Applications will be accepted on 16 January 2025.

(Applications may also be sent to the school before 16.01.2025.)

Students wishing to apply for the single-course exam must submit a signed petition by 16 January 2025 at 17:00.
(Applications received after 17:00 on 16 January 2025 will not be accepted by our Directorate.)

Students may send their petitions to ayvalik@balikesir.edu.tr or submit them in person to the Student Affairs Office.
