A conference titled "Artificial Intelligence, Design, and Human Centeredness" was held at Ayvalık
Vocational
School. Organized by Lecturer Gülşah Yetgin Gözüaçık with the contributions of
Lecturer Hayri Taşkır as part of the Architectural Restoration Program at
Ayvalık Vocational School, the event aimed to introduce students to
contemporary approaches in the fields of artificial intelligence and design,
and to help them understand how digital developments are reflected in
professional practices.
As a speaker
at the conference, Dr. Ladin Yıldıran delivered a presentation in which
she clearly explained the role of artificial intelligence in design processes,
the importance of human-centered thinking, and the impact of digital
transformation on working methods. The examples she shared helped students
better grasp the relationship between design and technology.
Throughout
the event, students had the opportunity to explore different design approaches,
gain insight into current applications, and relate this knowledge to their own
professional fields. During the Q&A session, students were able to ask
questions about topics they were curious about and engage in an open and
interactive discussion environment.
The
conference, held with the strong participation of the Ayvalık Vocational School
administration, academic staff, and students, was a productive event that
contributed to students’ professional development.
At the end
of the conference, a certificate of appreciation and flowers were presented to
Dr. Ladin Yıldıran by the Director of our Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr.
Yakup Dinç, in recognition of her sharing her knowledge and experience with the
academic staff and students.
