A protocol for social and scientific cooperation was signed between Balıkesir University Ayvalık Vocational School and Ayvalık Anatolian High School.
Under this protocol, the
University will provide expert support, under conditions deemed appropriate by
the University, in areas such as in-service training that Ayvalık Anatolian
High School may require, improving the infrastructure of education, evaluating
teaching processes, enriching the teaching program, developing seminars and
projects in terms of quality, or providing education and teaching support.
Students enrolled at Ayvalık Anatolian High School to visit Balıkesir
University at times and locations deemed appropriate by Balıkesir University
for scientific studies, research, and projects jointly decided upon by
Balıkesir University and the High School, and to take advantage of Balıkesir
University's facilities, if possible.
At the signing ceremony, the
first collaboration was realized with the project “Ayvalık 360°: Integration of
Local Heritage into Teacher Education through Experiential and Digital Learning
Approaches,” which was submitted as the first joint application under the
TÜBİTAK 4005 Innovative Education Applications Support Program.
