An Engaging Industry Meeting in the Kitchen Services Course
As part of the Kitchen Services course offered by the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, students participated in a breakfast event at Sea Long & See Resort Hotel under the guidance of course instructor Gözde Nur Coşkun Kaya and Hayri Taşkır, Vice Director of the Vocational School. The event provided an enjoyable and educational opportunity for students to engage directly with the hospitality industry.
The breakfast was hosted by Ms. Özlem, one of the hotel's partners and its Human Resources Manager, whose warm hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere. During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the organization of a professional breakfast service in a real hotel environment while experiencing industry practices firsthand.
Following the breakfast, an informal discussion was held on menu analysis, occupational health and safety, and the operational aspects of kitchen services. Students actively participated by asking questions, sharing observations, and gaining practical insights from industry professionals.
The event enabled students to become more familiar with the hospitality sector while enhancing their practical knowledge and professional experience in the field of kitchen services.
