Ayvalık Vocational School Students Met with Industry Representatives at the TTI İzmir International Tourism and Trade Fair

Balıkesir University Ayvalık Vocational School participated in the TTI İzmir International Tourism and Trade Fair, held between December 3–5, with a large student delegation from the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, the Department of Management and Organization, and the Department of Marketing and Advertising.

The visit, organized under the guidance of our Assistant Director Lecturer Hayri Taşkır and Lecturer Gözde Nur Coşkun Kaya, instructor of the Congress and Fair Management course, aimed to observe current trends in the sector and provide students with professional fair experience.

During the fair, students had the opportunity to engage directly with numerous national and international companies operating in the fields of tourism and trade. In their meetings with industry representatives, they received information on internship and employment opportunities, innovative service approaches in the sector, and technological advancements.

Such collaborations, which enhance our students’ sectoral experience, strengthen our educational process and contribute to training professional and well-equipped personnel for the industry.
