Established under the guidance of Lecturer Gülşah Yetgin Gözüaçık within Balıkesir University Ayvalık Vocational School, the Book Club aims to bring together students and academics in a shared environment of reading and exchange. The club will offer participants a rich experience through activities such as collective book readings, literary discussions, cultural events, and author meetings.
The Book Club encourages individuals to develop their reading habits, discover different perspectives, and create a cultural platform for exchange through literature. Monthly evaluations based on a selected work will not only strengthen participants’ critical thinking skills but also reinforce a culture of discussion and collaboration.
In line with the club’s principles, it aims to create an atmosphere where every individual can freely express their thoughts and where diverse opinions are respected. In this regard, the Book Club serves not only as a literary sharing space but also as a platform contributing to the academic and social development of its members.
