Conference on "Restoration Techniques for Decorative Painting and Gold Leaf Applications" Held for Architectural Restoration Program Students
A conference entitled "Restoration Techniques for Decorative Painting and Gold Leaf Applications" was organized for students of the Architectural Restoration Program at Balıkesir University Ayvalık Vocational School. The event featured Restorer Ayla Aksu and Decorative Wall Painting Specialist (Kalemkâr) Nevin Ünal as guest speakers.

Nevin Ünal presented examples of the decorative painting (kalemişi) restoration works carried out at Dolmabahçe Palace. She discussed traditional wall decoration arts, restoration methods, and conservation practices, offering students valuable insights into this specialized field.
