MEDEK Accreditation Meeting Held at Our Vocational School

As part of the MEDEK Accreditation process, Ayvalık Vocational School and Havran Vocational School held an information and peer-review meeting on 4 March 2026 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting was attended by Lecturer Mustafa Melkin Öder, Vice Director of Havran Vocational School, Dr. Bayram Alamur, Vice Director of Havran Vocational School, and Dr. Mustafa Kara, Head of the Department of Management and Organization at Havran Vocational School. The discussions focused on peer evaluation and the ongoing MEDEK accreditation process.

Representing Ayvalık Vocational School were Dr. Figen Erdoğdu, Vice Director; Hayri Taşkır, Vice Director and Chair of the Quality Commission; Department Heads Prof. Dr. Ayhan Gökdeniz, Dr. Elif Bezirgan, and Lecturer Soner Çabuk; School Secretary Ahmet Öztürk; and administrative staff members Ali Kadir Özcan and Nazan Seziş.

Following the meeting, an on-site inspection of Ayvalık Vocational School's physical facilities was conducted to assess their readiness for the accreditation process. Participants exchanged views on the preparations, evaluated the existing infrastructure, and identified areas requiring further improvement to support the MEDEK accreditation process.
