Technical Trip to Ayvalık Urban Conservation Site by the Architectural Restoration Program

The Architectural Restoration Program’s “Conservation Theory and Methods” course, conducted by Dr. Figen Erdoğdu with 1st-year students, was held in Ayvalık.
During the trip, the internal and external factors causing deterioration in monuments within the historical city were examined on site. Emphasis was placed on the concept of the historical environment and the causes of its deterioration.
