The film Ertuğrul 1890, a Turkish-Japanese co-production, was screened at our Vocational School within the scope of the TÜBİTAK High School Student Project Competition.

As part of the TÜBİTAK High
School Student Project Competition and in connection with a project prepared on
the Ertuğrul Frigate Disaster and Turkish–Japanese relations, the film “Ertuğrul
1890”, a Turkish–Japanese co-production, was shown to students from Ayvalık
Science High School, Ayvalık Anatolian High School, and our Vocational
School in the Ayvalık Vocational School conference hall. Surveys regarding
awareness of the topic were conducted both before and after the film screening.
The event aimed to provide students with knowledge about this tragic event, which holds an important place in our history, and to increase their awareness of the nature and development of Turkish–Japanese relations.
