Dear Fellow Students,
Balıkesir University Ayvalık Vocational School, with its modern educational environment and strong academic staff, is an institution of higher education at the associate degree level in Turkey, recognized for its programs in Tourism, Business, Marketing, and Restoration education. Founded in 1992, our school aims to provide students with modern learning environments and to equip them to compete both nationally and internationally.
Our school, which has adopted loyalty to Atatürk’s Principles and Reforms as a fundamental principle, currently continues its education in four departments: Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services; Management and Organization; Marketing and Advertising; and Architecture and Urban Planning.
In addition to the theoretical and practical vocational courses offered to our students, foreign language education is also given intensively. Within the Tourism program, besides the first foreign language, German is offered as an elective second foreign language. Various automation programs such as Eta Accounting, Sentez, Odeon, Mod, and Autocad are also taught to our students through practical training.
Our school conducts associate degree education with the mission of training mid-level qualified workforce needed in the constantly developing sectors of Tourism, Business, Marketing, and Restoration. Students are required to complete a 30-day internship, which provides them with opportunities for personal and professional development. We hope that you will choose our school, where our graduates find employment opportunities primarily in the tourism and accommodation sectors, as well as in food and beverage, airlines, banking, accounting offices, restoration companies, and marketing as mid-level managers.
