MISSION
Located in Ayvalık, one of Türkiye's leading tourism and cultural destinations, Ayvalık Vocational School is committed to developing solutions that contribute to the advancement of the tourism industry and architectural restoration by:
- Educating graduates with a strong foundation in business administration and tourism, equipped with at least one foreign language, proficiency in computer applications, domestic and/or international internship experience, and comprehensive theoretical and practical training in core tourism courses.
- Conducting scientific research and developing projects that address the needs of the industry.
- Providing education, training, and consultancy services to tourism enterprises.
- Organizing national and international conferences, panels, symposiums, and similar academic events.
- Conducting surveying, documentation, and restoration studies of religious and civil architectural heritage located within the urban conservation areas of Ayvalık and its surrounding region.
- Offering international learning opportunities through European Union-funded projects and other global education initiatives.
VISION
To educate innovative, inquisitive, self-confident, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible individuals who embrace universal values and possess the ability to anticipate change and create value in diverse fields such as tourism, marketing, business, and architectural restoration. Our graduates are expected to uphold the principles of Atatürk, secularism, and contemporary education while contributing to society at both national and international levels.
